This study looks at whom, when and how often lawyers from major law firms attend their law school reunions, and how valuable they perceive these reunions to be.  The reports enables its readers to hone- in on lawyers most likely to attend, and most likely to attend more than one or two reunions in their lifetimes.  The study also helps law school staff to pinpoint attorneys most eager to serve on reunion committees.

Data in the reports is based on a sample of 221 attorneys at 65 major US law firms. Data is broken out by gender, work title, age, law school ranking, predominant area of legal practice and other variables.

Just a few of this 33-page report’s many findings are that:

  • 17.95% of male attorneys surveyed had ever attended a law school reunion.
  • Attorneys who consider themselves left of liberal politically were the most disposed towards serving on law school reunion committees.
  • Lawyers specializing in tax law, M/A and international law were the least likely to plan to attend their next law school reunion.
